julia rugg
Julia Rugg has had her hand in the performing arts since her days as a 4-year-old Suzuki violin student. Although she now only sings in the shower, her passion for world class arts education dovetails with her years of corporate management and public education experience and uniquely positions her as a results-oriented managing director. Studying acting as a BFA at Ithaca College was a transformative experience and led Julia to pursue additional undergraduate and graduate degrees in child development and elementary education. Julia is passionate about the integration of theater arts, mental and behavioral health, and education. As a local MCS parent, Julia will drive collaboration between the Delaware County School of Performing Arts, Margaretville Arts Center, local schools, and behavioral health services, to increase the availability of performing arts education for all.
Julia looks forward to serving the Delaware County arts community and would love to hear from you! She can be reached at: julia@mvillearts.org
